What we hope our children bring home from camp.
I have just returned from facilitating a Rites of Passage Leadership Training alongside Dr Arne Rubinstein and Rebekah Volgin at Yarrakoora, home of the Rites of Passage Institute in the Byron Bay hinterland. We were joined by 36 people, ranging in age from 26 to 62, who brought with them different cultures, beliefs, life experiences and reasons for being there. I left feeling deeply moved by what they were willing to meet in themselves, and by the possibilities they could see for their families, schools, workplaces and communities...

What is a Rite of Passage — and Why Does It Matter Now?
